The Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a creative and driven Content Marketing Manager to develop and execute content strategies that captivate our target audience, elevate brand visibility, and generate leads. As the lead Content Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality content across various platforms to drive sales and engage customers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in creating content geared toward demand generation, specifically designed for sales and marketing professionals targeting the restaurant sector. This includes expert knowledge in the foodservice market, effective sales tactics within the industry, conducting thorough market research, and employing data-driven strategies for sales and marketing focused on capturing restaurant businesses.


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with our marketing goals to boost brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Manage content production, from day-to-day traffic growth to executing large quarterly projects, ensuring high quality across emails, social channels, and other media.
  • Produce engaging, multiformat content such as blog posts, white papers, case studies, email newsletters, social media updates, landing pages, and infographics.
  • Oversee external content creators and SEO agencies to ensure the effective execution of content initiatives.
  • Optimize content for SEO to enhance organic search visibility and assess content effectiveness through analytics.
  • Coordinate with marketing and product teams to align content with business objectives and collaborate with design teams to improve content presentation.
  • Maintain an editorial calendar, ensuring content is timely, consistent with our brand voice, and meets quality standards.
  • Monitor content performance metrics to refine strategies and achieve better results.
  • Lead an "always on" content model that supports a robust, multi-channel demand generation program.
  • Stay updated on market trends and competitive activities to keep content relevant and impactful.
  • Research, interview, and write impactful stories in a variety of formats that capture the attention of our target audiences in restaurant technology and food and beverage sectors.
  • Work with subject-matter experts around the organization and in the industry to develop and produce data-driven white papers and reports that showcase our market data and insights.
  • Manage the B2B organic social media strategy, growing Brizo's online presence and engagement.
  • Document and disseminate our brand voice and writing style guidelines to ensure consistency across all company content.
  • Keeping a pulse on the industry and our buyers through news, research and collaborating with internal teams to inform our thought leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent.
  • Keen understanding of and interest in foodservice industry, B2B sales and data analytics.
  • Outstanding written, visual and verbal communication and storytelling skills.
  • 4+ years of experience crafting creative copy and building effective content strategies for B2B software companies.
  • Strong portfolio of written content that demonstrates expertise across multiple formats.
  • Proven ability to develop content strategies that generate measurable ROI.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Successfully managed company social platforms, particularly , demonstrating you can build a social following and engage a digital community.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, showcasing ownership, accountability, and a continuous improvement mindset.
