  • Leadership & Strategy: Develop and execute the overall retail strategy to grow the brand's footprint across Canada, driving sales and profitability while maintaining the company’s core values and customer-centric approach.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day retail operations across all stores, ensuring operational efficiency, visual merchandising standards, and an exceptional customer experience.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing retail team, including Regional/District Managers and Store Managers, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.
  • Sales & Performance Management: Drive retail sales targets and key performance metrics by analyzing store performance, customer insights, and market trends, ensuring continuous improvement and business growth.
  • Brand Integrity & Customer Experience: Ensure the consistent delivery of the brand's vision, ethos, and customer experience across all retail channels, aligning store operations with the overall business strategy.
  • Expansion & Market Development: Identify and evaluate new store locations, opportunities for expansion, and market penetration strategies in line with growth objectives.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, merchandising, and HR, to implement initiatives that enhance store performance and brand presence.
  • Financial Management: Manage and monitor the retail budget, including sales, expenses, and profitability, ensuring cost control measures while maximizing revenue.
  • Innovation & Digital Integration: Embrace digital tools and technology to enhance the in-store experience, integrate omnichannel initiatives, and support the brand’s growth in e-commerce and retail innovation.
Requirements
  • Experience: 8+ years of progressive retail leadership experience in women’s fashion/apparel, with at least 5 years in a national or multi-regional leadership role.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead large teams, manage senior retail leaders, and drive a customer-focused and results-oriented retail strategy.
  • Operational Expertise: Strong understanding of retail operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store performance optimization.
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop and execute long-term retail growth strategies that align with broader business objectives.
  • Financial Acumen: Experience in P&L management, budgeting, and financial analysis, with a focus on driving profitability while maintaining brand integrity.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Deep understanding of customer behavior, trends, and expectations in contemporary women’s fashion, with a passion for delivering exceptional in-store experiences.
  • Adaptability & Innovation: Comfort with change and innovation, especially regarding the integration of digital tools and omnichannel strategies in the retail space.
