How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The main function and purpose of this position is to support the regional sales team in achieving ALC sales and profitability growth targets as well as to drive compliance and improvement of sales processes and tools. The incumbent will provide support in developing new sales tools and systems. The incumbent will also be responsible for issuing required sales analysis reports (scorecards) and sales pipeline reports (CRM), for price coordination and increases, for the preparation of budget process and the management of contracts and quotes. The incumbent will contribute to the promotion of ALC’s quality and safety objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepares sales analysis and sales pipeline reports: Follows the evolution of sales and records information. Uses the appropriate systems to produce detailed sales analysis and reports. Issues monthly scorecard for each Account Executive. Prepares specific sales reports for Account Executives. Interprets reports and makes recommendations. Participates in the annual sales budgeting process in coordination with the sales Manager.
  • Determines, reviews and increases prices: Prepares and quarterbacks the implementation of the Price Increase Plan. Organizes communication of price increases to customers. Develops and implements pricing strategies: Contributes to the development, communicates and delivers implementation of pricing strategies, structures, policies and processes that align with ALC Business strategy. Plans price changes, determines implementation steps and supports regional sales teams.
  • Participates in sales: Contributes to the development of new programs and tools to improve the process and follows-up on action plans for the sales force: "cold-call" follow-up for new applications and "Blitz" in some market segments. Takes part in the development of new markets and applications by using pertinent methods and tools (telemarketing, appropriate software).
  • Manages contracts and prepares proposals and bids: Ensures follow-up of contracts, updates the list and expiration dates. Produces lists of contracts to Sales Teams highlighting the short-term deadlines and the contracts to re-negotiate (which customers don’t want automatic renewal). Prepares proposals and bids for Account Executives and customers. Gives advice when necessary. Is responsible for following up on commitments toward customers.
  • Process compliance and improvement: Monitors compliance of sales teams to ALC sales processes. Supports AE in doing so by training and coaching them on the tools (CRM, myairliquide.ca, etc). Works with his/her team as well as with cross-functional teams to continuously improve the work process. Continuously analyses the functioning of the activity, identifies causes of dysfunction and proposes corrective measures accordingly.
Are you a MATCH?
  • Diploma: College Diploma in administration or in a related field of specialization.

  • Training: Quality system (ISO), safety.

  • Knowledge: ERP (Oracle), Sales Force or other CRM and BI would be an asset, solid knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint), advanced written and oral communication skills, in French and English.

  • Experience: 2 years experience in industrial field.
