Red Deer, Canada Progress Insurance Full time

Reporting directly to the COO, your primary responsibility with be to lead, manage, and to be accountable for all aspects of the branch. You ensure branch growth and retention goals are achieved. You are responsible for big relationships with clients, carriers, employees, and within the leadership team. You will work with the IGN Executive Team in a leadership capacity, enforcing planned strategies, and communicating with stakeholders about important decisions made for and by the company. You will establish plans and strategies to achieve goals and provide local leadership while adhering to IGN Core Process, Core Mission, Vision, and Values. You are a problem solver with a profound ability to identify, discuss and solve all issues.

**Proactive Actions**
- Approach problem solving by diving deeper and considering broader implications; identify trends and win-win solutions
- Move projects along with a sense of urgency, following all lead indicators
- Maintain confidentiality and always protect the company
- Use a positive attitude that guides all interactions within and outside the organization
- Meeting with the executive team to assess goals, direction, plans, strategies, and compliance.
- Overseeing budgets and staff
- Overseeing operations and ensuring goals are met through establishing strategies.
- Listening to reports of the company’s other leaders and executives
- Monitoring the company’s financial needs and analyzing budgets and reports
- Creating and revising plans to improve the branch’s profitability and growth
- Searching for and creating new strategic partnerships

**Essential Functions**
- Sales
- Actively engaged in Selling activities to prospective clients and driving revenue into the branch
- Participate in setting branch sales targets
- Build and retain branch Book of Business
- Focus on business development through relationship-building
- Utilize CMB’s sales process which differentiates us from other agencies
- Develop a strong knowledge of our resources and services and promote cross selling opportunities
- Leadership
- Provide local leadership to branch team members; ensuring a culture that strives to deliver on CMB Core Mission, Vision and Values.
- Participate in all Leadership Meetings, Event and Community engagements as required by IGN Corporate Services
- Participate in the recruitment and retention for all employment positions
- Provide direction and mentorship to new and experienced Sales team members
- Participate in weekly renewal and L10 team meetings
- Carrier Relationships
- Maintain and grow all carrier relationships at all levels
- Solve all marketing issues
- Participate in all carrier reviews and meeting
- Annual growth strategies with carriers

**Team Support**
- Be familiar with and follow IGN Core Process, Core Mission, Vision and Values
- Follow EOS: Traction methodology
- Take all steps to avoid, and report to the COO, any potential Errors & Omissions or bad debt situations
- Attend and participate in Traction EOS, staff meetings and other company functions
- Demonstrate good leadership qualities with a positive attitude and ability to motivate others

**Key Performance Indicators for Branch President**

1. Net Annual Growth, as indicated on VTO

2. EBIDTA Performance, as indicated on VTO

**Knowledge and Experience**:

- Licensed Level 2 Insurance Agent and professional insurance designation
- 10+ years’ experience with demonstrated success leading sales in an insurance environment
- 5+ years’ experience with commercial insurance experience is an asset
- Excellent communication, motivation, and negotiation skills
- Entrepreneurial attitude; self-motivation and growth-oriented mindset
- Desire to create and nurture relationships with clients and team members

Please note this position offers a competitive salary based on experience.
