Critical Care Registered Nurse

Fraser Health Authority is seeking a skilled Emergency Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a critical care registered nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients, collect relevant data, and develop individualized care plans to address their unique needs.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless patient care.
- Patient Education and Support: Teach patients and their families about illness prevention, health restoration, and health maintenance to empower them to take an active role in their care.
- Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes in accordance with established standards and protocols.
- Quality Improvement and Research: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research activities to enhance patient care and advance nursing practice.
- Education and Experience: Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). Completion of applicable post-graduate coursework in emergency nursing or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities, and a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
