Project Leader Fraser Health is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Leader to join our team. As a key member of our Redevelopment Project office, you will play a crucial role in providing project management support for a wide range of activities, from project planning and coordination to documentation management and stakeholder engagement. **Job Summary** * Lead and manage small to medium-sized projects, including planning, design, and implementation * Oversee assigned staff and provide leadership by directing work teams, contractors, and consultants as needed * Coordinate planning, design, and contract document preparation, including liaison with clinical planners, equipment planners, and design consultants * Review and assess space occupancy and utilization, providing recommendations for improvement * Participate in and provide input on consultant selection and project tendering, administering contracts and overseeing performance **Responsibilities** * Manage project planning and implementation, including development of project plans, budgets, and schedules * Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project completion * Provide frequent clear and concise reports to Redevelopment leadership regarding ongoing issues, progress updates, challenges, and opportunities * Monitor adherence to established safety, infection control, and risk mitigation protocols * Lead and facilitate operational commissioning and project-related decanting or moves **Qualifications** * Diploma in Architectural and Building Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related field * 5-7 years' recent related experience managing, leading, and directing facilities projects in a complex institutional environment * Comprehensive knowledge of project management principles and methodologies * Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications * Demonstrated ability to effectively manage planning, design, and construction projects simultaneously **Competencies** * Demonstrates the leadership practices of the Fraser Health Leadership Framework of Clear, Caring, and Courageous * Professional/Technical Capabilities: + Knowledge of capital project planning and implementation processes + Ability to supervise and provide direction to team members + Demonstrated ability to identify, plan, organize, prioritize, and implement projects in a timely manner + Ability to operate related equipment and software applications **About Fraser Health** Fraser Health is a leading healthcare provider in British Columbia, Canada, serving over 2 million people in Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley.
