About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Retail Store Leader to join our team at Rocky Mountain Soap Company. As a key member of our retail leadership team, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Leader in the day-to-day operations of our new retail location and leading the customer and employee experience within.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consistently demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and set the example for the team to follow.
  • Support the Store Leader in training, developing, and coaching the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Address customer concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • In the absence of the Store Leader, lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales and customer service goals.
  • Actively work to improve personal performance by pursuing opportunities for continuous learning and feedback.
  • Coach, guide, and connect with team members to ensure they understand their role in delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Support the Store Leader in ensuring all inventory management processes are completed.
  • Report quality issues and ensure all products on the sales floor meet our brand standards for quality and presentation.
  • Lead the store in sustainability efforts and initiatives.
  • Actively lead and coach team members to drive revenue and performance metrics.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of retail leadership experience.
  • A passion for retail with an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to develop business skills.
  • A team player with a love for natural products and a desire to share that passion with customers and team members.
  • An ability to have fun, laugh, and promote kindness in the workplace.
  • A fearlessness to 'give it a go' and take on new challenges.
