Our passionate team of professionals provides a variety of high-quality inpatient and outpatient services.
The Leader Patient Flow Operations will supervise nursing staff, coordinate hospital and bed utilization activities, and ensure staffing levels are adequate to meet patient census. The role requires collaboration with patients, families, management, staff, physicians, community partners and service providers to address challenges and improve patient experience/outcome.
About the Role- Supervise nursing staff and coordinate hospital and bed utilization activities
- Ensure staffing levels are adequate to meet patient census
- Collaborate with patients, families, management, staff, physicians, community partners and service providers
- Apply strategic and analytical thinking to address challenges and improve patient experience/outcome
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Program
- Registered or eligible for registration with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing
- Minimum of three (3) years medical/surgical experience or equivalent in an acute care setting
- Minimum of two (2) years' nursing management experience
- BCLS required
- ACLS is an asset
- Demonstrated leadership, planning, organization and time management skills
- Ability to promote and maintain good interpersonal relations
- Ability to match utilization needs to resources available
- Ability to perform duties that involve lifting, bending and stretching
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
- Permanent full-time position; 75 hours bi-weekly
- Shifts include days, evenings, nights, weekends & holidays
$53.34 hourly
