Leader Patient Flow Operations Manager

The Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Leader Patient Flow Operations. This position is responsible for the coordination of safe and efficient patient care services within the facility, ensuring staffing levels are adequate to meet patient census.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and planning skills, with the ability to promote and maintain good interpersonal relations with patients, visitors, and other health professionals. A minimum of three years of medical/surgical experience and two years of nursing management experience are required.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising nursing staff, coordinating hospital and bed utilization activities, and working collaboratively with patients, families, management, staff, physicians, and community partners to address challenges and improve patient outcomes.
About YouWe are looking for a candidate with a graduate degree in nursing, registered or eligible for registration with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing, and a strong background in medical/surgical experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The following qualifications are required:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Program
- Registered or eligible for registration with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing
- Minimum of three (3) years medical/surgical experience or equivalent in an acute care setting
- Minimum of two (2) years' nursing management experience
- BCLS required
- ACLS is an asset

HoursThis is a permanent full-time position, with a 75-hour bi-weekly schedule. Shifts include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
