Job Summary

A&W Restaurants is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff, ensuring seamless execution of daily operations, and maintaining high standards of quality, speed, and cost control.
  • Customer Service: Foster a positive and welcoming environment for customers, ensuring their needs are met, and exceeding their expectations.
  • Financial Management: Manage inventory, control costs, and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring the restaurant's financial performance meets company standards.
  • Staff Development: Train, develop, and coach staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3 years of experience in a restaurant supervisory role, with a proven track record of success in managing teams and driving sales growth.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff to achieve exceptional results.
  • Knowledge: Expertise in restaurant operations, including inventory management, cost control, and financial management.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with staff, customers, and management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on hospitality or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
Working Conditions

The Assistant Restaurant Manager will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with regular exposure to customers, staff, and management. The role requires standing and walking for extended periods, with some heavy lifting involved.
