We're seeking a skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team. As a Clinical Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering time-limited, evidence-based psycho-social assessments and treatments to adults with Tier-3 mental disorders and Substance Use Disorders. You will work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, providing services within a Stepped Care framework and guided by disorder-based clinical care pathways.
About the OpportunityThe ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in a clinical health-related discipline and current registration with a relevant provincial regulatory body. You will have a minimum of two years' related experience, including assessment and planning, treatment and intervention, and discharge planning. You will also have in-depth knowledge of the principles of harm reduction, the dynamics of addiction, and evidence-based interventions for the treatment of addiction.
- Master's Degree in a clinical health-related discipline
- Current registration with a relevant provincial regulatory body
- Minimum two years' related experience
- In-depth knowledge of harm reduction, addiction, and evidence-based interventions
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in individual/group cognitive behavioral therapy and psycho-educational groups
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in crisis intervention, suicide, and violence risk assessment/intervention
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Basic competencies in identifying and treating concurrent mental health and substance use disorders
- Experience in interviewing, counseling, and teaching health concepts to individuals, families, and groups
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in collaborating with families in relation to sharing information and implementing family-sensitive services
- Competencies in other languages an asset

Clinical Therapist
$49.05 hourly
