Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Produce Department Manager to lead our team and drive sales in the produce department at Walmart Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Merchandise Management: Receive and process merchandise, utilize equipment effectively, and maintain accurate records and documentation.
  2. Visual Merchandising: Ensure the sales floor is visually appealing by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out-of-date products, and creating engaging product displays.
  3. Team Leadership: Recruit, select, train, and develop a high-performing team of Produce Associates, setting a positive example and promoting a culture of excellence.
  4. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, promoting products and services, and making purchase decisions.
  5. Inventory Management: Plan and execute inventory replenishment programs, maintain accurate inventory levels, and ensure in-stock levels meet customer demand.
  6. Loss Prevention: Identify and mitigate high-shrink items, maintain a safe work environment, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  7. Administrative Tasks: Complete required paperwork, including inventory tracking reports, throwaway record sheets, invoices, and assignment notes.
