Job Description:

  • Review project specifications and drawings to assess project scope and details.
  • Plan, schedule, and supervise crews within assigned budget and timeframe.
  • Oversee job site operations, including coordinating activities with Contractors and multiple projects.
  • Adapt to various construction shift patterns, such as nights and weekends.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of design and construction packages to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Coordinate construction schedules and staging plans.
  • Ensure adherence to quality inspections and maintain detailed site records.
  • Monitor construction operations to meet engineering designs, specifications, and budget.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with subcontractors, internal stakeholders, and personnel.
  • Implement corporate policies and procedures, including safety and environmental guidelines.
  • Provide necessary equipment, materials, and procedures for safe job performance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of Superintendent/General Foreman experience.
  • 10-15 years of experience in Sewer/Water/Road building construction.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's license.
  • Experience in large infrastructure projects and cross-disciplinary communication.
  • Knowledge of civil engineering practices.
  • Previous experience in site development, grading, drainage, and paving projects.
  • Strong organizational, project management, estimating, and cost control skills.
