About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Superintendent to join our team at CCD Western Limited. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate the activities of subcontractors and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Operational Planning: Plan and organize daily operations to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize delays.
  • Budgeting: Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates, and plan and manage budgets to ensure financial stability.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret blueprints, schemas, and drawings to ensure that projects are constructed according to specifications.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise a team of 1-10 people, including contractors, and provide guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Hold a Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate and a Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Experience: Have previous experience in the construction industry, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work under pressure.
