Job Summary:

The Base Area Operations Department is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our base area facilities, including the plazas, parking lots, and surrounding areas. As a Base Area Operator, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including snow removal, grounds maintenance, and facility cleaning. You will also be the first point of contact for our guests, providing them with a warm and welcoming experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of base area facilities, including plazas, parking lots, and surrounding areas.
  • Perform snow removal and grounds maintenance tasks, including shoveling, salting, and clearing snow from walkways and parking lots.
  • Clean and maintain facilities, including restrooms, trash and recycling areas, and other public spaces.
  • Provide exceptional guest service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of base area facilities.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role or in a related field (e.g. hospitality, facilities management) an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
