Job Summary:

The Base Area Operations Department at Whistler Blackcomb is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Base Area Operator. This role is responsible for maintaining the plazas and facilities at the base of both Whistler and Blackcomb mountains, as well as providing exceptional guest service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the base area facilities, including snow removal, trash collection, and recycling.
  • Provide friendly and efficient guest service, including parking assistance and traffic flow management.
  • Assist with facility maintenance, including minor repairs and cleaning.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks such as snow shoveling and heavy lifting.
