We are seeking an experienced Director of Care to join our team at a brand-new facility in Ontario. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and schedule resident care activities in compliance with applicable legislation and regulations.
- Maintain a positive and supportive atmosphere that promotes the optimal health and well-being of residents and staff.
- Lead and manage a team of nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
- Act as an ambassador for the facility, representing our organization in the community and with stakeholders.
- Minimum 3 years' experience working as a Registered Nurse in a managerial or supervisory capacity in the healthcare setting.
- Current certificate of competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse.
- Education in nursing, nursing administration, and gerontology.
- Proven leadership and management skills, with a focus on resident-centered care.
