Successful candidates will lead projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and collaboration with various teams.

Stream-Flo Industries Ltd. is a Canadian manufacturer of wellhead, production gate valve, and check valve equipment, recognized for its innovative designs and top-quality products.

Key Position Functions:

  • Manage projects to ensure on-time completion in collaboration with manufacturing, quality assurance, sales, and service teams.
  • Document engineering design input requirements for projects, including technical specifications and industry standards.
  • Improve project efficiencies by utilizing standard products and providing custom solutions where necessary.
  • Ensure solutions meet technical, commercial, and quality requirements, aligning with customer needs and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with sales and service teams to provide exceptional technical support.
  • Assess and evaluate technical requirements, incorporating input from external agencies, sales, and end-users to determine design requirements.
  • Review customer RFP and RFQ documents, developing project outlines and submitting clarifications as necessary.
  • Develop and deliver presentations for customer design reviews and meetings.
  • Conceptualize wellhead equipment design, including 3D modeling, design calculations, and stress analysis.
  • Produce wellhead assembly drawings and installation sequence drawings.
  • Review quotations for accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide guidance to junior engineers, co-op students, and technical staff on technical issues, corporate policies, and project management.
  • Verify that completed design outputs meet input requirements and perform project management activities.

Preferred candidates will possess a combination of the following:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in wellhead, frac products, and associated services.
  • Project management experience is an asset.
  • Good understanding of Stream-Flo products and applications.
  • Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or Technical Institute.
  • Membership with APEGA, ASET, or eligibility for P. Eng or P. Tech (Eng.) or PE.
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling and drafting, as well as ANSI, ASME, and ISO drafting techniques.
  • Knowledge of all API/ISO Product Requirements and stress analysis.
  • Ability to maintain attention to detail while working on multiple priorities.
  • Strong presentation, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Highly self-motivated, well-organized, and desire to gain experience and expand knowledge.
  • A mechanical aptitude and methodical approach to problem-solving.
