About the Role
The Team Lead will be responsible for ensuring that production cells meet established quality and productivity standards. This includes maintaining installed measures, completing tasks, and ensuring operators use standard work and associated tools to meet standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of occupational health and safety, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills.
Your Responsibilities
• Ensure that established quality and productivity standards are achieved within designated cells and workstations.
• Identify root causes of performance issues and take corrective action.
• Train new operators and ensure they understand and adhere to standard work and required practices.
• Complete project work as assigned, including improvements in standard work.
• Fill in for production operators when required.
• Participate in lean concepts training as required.
• Ensure that all environmental requirements are identified and addressed when performing duties.
• Provide support for business system goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or designate.
