Patient Care Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at Royal Columbian Hospital. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for providing clinical supervision, guidance, and support to nursing staff and other clinical team members. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to nursing staff and other clinical team members
- Coordinate patient assignments and monitor staff workload and patient factors
- Establish priorities for patient care, patient flow, and daily operations of the designated unit(s)
- Monitor the quality of patient care and ensure maintenance of standards for nursing practice and nursing support staff
- Support quality improvement and risk management activities
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Three (3) years of recent related clinical experience in the designated clinical area, including one (1) year of supervisory experience
- Completion of post-graduate coursework and/or certification applicable to the designated clinical area
