The Opportunity
As a valued member of the Regional Operations team, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of revenue metering equipment for the Company. Duties include: installation of transformer-rated and self-contained metering arrangements, commissioning and inspection of metering sites, upgrading non-standard metering sites, programming electronic meters, trouble shooting problematic metering applications, modifying metering equipment, preparation of specialized applications and other related duties as assigned.
Your qualifications include a diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering Technology (Instrumentation or Power and Controls specialty preferred) or completion of an Industrial Electrician's certificate, supplemented by related experience and a strong working knowledge of computer-based programs such as Microsoft Office. You must hold and maintain a valid motor vehicle driver's license. Some travel is required. Compensation is in accordance with the current Collective Agreement.
You are a highly motivated team player with a strong commitment to safety and customer service, an excellent work ethic, and effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
