About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented co-op student to join our team as a Combat Systems Integration Co-op. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, including the Canadian Surface Combatant (CSC) Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in a structured cooperative educational/work program between the company and a college/university student enrolled in an accredited degree program directly related to skills required by the company
  • Work with a multi-disciplinary teams to create three dimensional (3D) models for compartment and topside arrangements for the CSC Program
  • Perform Quick Look analysis to prove concepts; including Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Line of Sight, Cable Length Restrictions
  • Conduct meeting minutes for design reviews
  • Understanding of configuration/change management principles and their application in the product development life cycle.
Requirements
  • Current student in an engineering field, preferably Electrical
  • Working knowledge of SolidWorks
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Visio
  • Aptitude for working well in teams
  • Ability to work independently
  • Available for four (4) months, starting May 2024
  • Eligible for North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Secret clearance in a timely manner.
