We are looking for a Registered Nurse to support the Injury & Illness Management Team with IOC's Occupational Health department. The role is based in Labrador City, NL.

Working on a 7/7 12 hour rotating day shift and reporting to the Senior Health Advisor, Injury & Illness Management, your duties will include:

  • On site Injury and Illness Management; assess, treat, and follow up any non-work related and work related injuries and illnesses
  • Collaborate with the Occupational Health team for on site health promotion activities
  • Assist with the Case Management of non-work related medical claims, including short term and long term disability, and work-related Workplace NL medical claims.
  • Manage and maintain health records through comprehensive documentation for all health-related encounters
  • Ensure medical confidentiality and demonstrate integrity and professionalism required by work related to the handling of sensitive, personal and confidential data
  • Conduct any other nursing related activities according to recognized protocols, methods, procedures and guidelines

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent
  • Currently licensed and in good standing with CRNNL
  • 2 + years of relevant work experience
  • Relevant up to date training and certifications (BLS-HCP, ACLS,, etc.) would be considered an asset
  • Experience working in Occupational Health would be considered an asset
  • Experience with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office would be considered an asset
