Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Continuous Improvement Specialist to join our team in Charlottetown, PEI. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements across all business functions, with a particular emphasis on Manufacturing Operations.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, prioritize, and execute improvement initiatives that yield measurable results, particularly within Manufacturing Operations.
- Lead and facilitate Kaizen events aimed at driving continuous improvement in key areas.
- Develop and maintain metrics to effectively track and measure the impact of process improvements.
- Regularly analyze operations KPIs to uncover opportunities for improvements.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma principles to all related projects and activities, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Collaborate with business leaders to sustain a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
- Mentor and coach cross-functional teams in identifying opportunities and executing improvement projects.
- Assist in training employees on the proper application of Continuous Improvement tools and methodologies.
- Minimum 3 years' work experience in a similar role, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of successfully creating and executing project plans that meet or exceed objectives.
- Lean Six Sigma certification or demonstrated knowledge is essential.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships.
- Extensive knowledge on process improvement tools and methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from planning to execution.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Operations Management, Process engineering, or equivalent degree and experience.
