About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Planning and Business Development Lead to drive our company's growth and long-term objectives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced analytics techniques, leading cross-functional teams, and collaborating with stakeholders to identify strategic opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:- Contribute to the development of short- and long-term growth strategy roadmaps
- Synthesize business cases, form initial hypotheses, and identify data required to validate hypotheses
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, customer needs, and internal capabilities to support the identification of strategic opportunities
- Drive the development and implementation of advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modeling
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) across various business functions
- Unearth genuine consumer/competitive insights and identify growth opportunities for existing and new segments
- Partner with leaders from engineering, sales, innovation, operations, and other teams to develop data-driven strategies and solutions
- Create complex financial models to simulate strategic business case scenarios
- Build strong partnerships within the business and collaborate with segment and/or functional leaders to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness
- Support development of executive-level communications and assess the strengths and weaknesses of potential partnership opportunities
- Proven success in developing and maintaining effective relationships with business partners at all levels of the organization
- Bachelor's degree in an analytical field, such as engineering, economics, finance, or business (MBA preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of strategic insights/consumer research experience
- Experience in at least one of GreenMantra's markets is preferred (specialty chemicals, plastics, paving, roofing, oil & gas)
- High level of experience in analytical tools and commercial research methodologies
- Strong drive for results, project leadership skills, and ability to influence at all levels of the organization
- Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills (written, oral, and across Microsoft Office Suite)
- Ability to prioritize multiple workstreams and contending priorities, and distill a plan that can be implemented for the team
