We are seeking a skilled Continuing Care Assistant to join our team at Health Careers in Saskatchewan. As a Continuing Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing personal care and support to clients, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and activities of daily living for clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support clients in meeting their physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs.
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfer activities, such as walking, standing, and transferring from one surface to another.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Document client care and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
  • **Education:** Continuing Care Assistant certificate (CCA)
  • **Competencies:** Basic computer skills, communication skills, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills.
  • **Knowledge and Abilities:** Ability to work independently, food safe certificate (where required), and a valid driver's license (where required).

**Salary:** Pay Band 12 ($23.170 to step range)
