Graduate - Environmental Engineer or Scientist

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Engineer or Scientist New Grad to join our dynamic Contaminated Assessments & Remediation (CAR) team.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including environmental investigations, remediation, and decommissioning, while developing your skills and expertise in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:- Conduct environmental investigations, including field investigations, monitoring well and soil vapour probe installation oversight, and coordination of environmental monitoring.
- Work with intermediate and senior staff to implement environmental investigations for Stage 1 and 2 PSIs, DSIs, and Phase I and II ESAs and remediation work.
- Prepare permitting applications, remediation, demolition, and construction tender documents, and bid packages.
- Assist with data compilation, reduction, and interpretation, and preparation of technical environmental reports for senior review and regulatory forms.
- Maintain safety training to conduct environmental contaminated sites work.
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science or equivalent.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in environmental consulting.
- Knowledge of BC Contaminated Sites Regulation and associated guidance, protocols, etc. and federal guidelines.
- Co-op or internship experience conducting field work, particularly in complex drilling and hydrogeological settings, and overseeing remediation contractors.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent English writing and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver's license.
Salary Range: $64-76k, based on experience.
