Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Banquet Server to join our team at Marriott International. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by preparing and serving food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Communicate with the kitchen and other staff members to ensure that all orders are fulfilled and that guests receive their food and beverages in a timely manner.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the banquet area, including the tables, chairs, and serving areas.
- Respond to and fulfill special requests from guests, such as special dietary needs or preferences.
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure that all guests receive exceptional service.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Less than 1 year of related work experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food and beverage service role.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
