About the Job

  • Coordinate train movements to optimize railway performance and minimize delays
  • Facilitate emergency response and other unexpected events, prioritizing safety and minimizing impact to railway operations
  • Maintain a high level of awareness of the operation at all times, taking accountability for safety and performance
  • Participate in on-the-job safety audits to ensure safety rules are understood and implemented

Key Responsibilities

  • Must be proficient in rules established by the Calgary Operations Centre, including CROR (Canadian Rail Operating Rules) and practices
  • Coordinate train movements to optimize railway performance and minimize delays
  • Facilitate emergency response and other unexpected events, prioritizing safety and minimizing impact to railway operations
  • Maintain a high level of awareness of the operation at all times, taking accountability for safety and performance
  • Participate in on-the-job safety audits to ensure safety rules are understood and implemented

Medical Requirements
