Client Service Assistant, Nesbitt Burns

Supports Investment Advisors and branch operations with day-to-day administration and provides exceptional client service to achieve business objectives.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Client Service Representative. This role will provide administrative support to Investment Advisors and branch operations, ensuring seamless client service and achieving business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates marketing activities, including website, social media initiatives, client recognition, and event planning.
  • Assists Investment Advisors in preparing for client meetings, including scheduling appointments.
  • Handles clients' day-to-day requests and inquiries, including basic money movement, technology issues, and account opening.
  • Generates reports and documents for Investment Advisors and clients as requested.
  • Maintains and organizes client database and files.
  • Ensures transactions and tasks are assigned to team members and completed.
  • Provides support on technology issues, new technology, and general inquiries and escalations.
  • Gathers and distributes information on updates to training, guidelines, technology, and business information.
  • Develops rapport and confidence with clients to promote a positive experience.
  • Follows risk and compliance processes to safeguard clients' assets and maintain confidentiality.
  • Protects Bank assets and complies with regulatory, legal, and ethical requirements.
  • Maintains confidentiality of client and Bank information.
  • Completes complex tasks within given rules and limits.
  • Analyzes issues and determines next steps, escalating as required.

Qualifications:

  • Typically 1-2 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of wealth management company operations and products is an asset.
  • Familiarity with technology applications and software used in the financial planning and investment industry.
  • Basic specialized knowledge.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, organization skills, collaboration and team skills, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Salary:

$48,600.00 per year

Salaried and Commission
