**Job Description**

Reporting to the Director of Business Development & Strategic Partnerships, the Business Development Manager is responsible for:

* Prospecting for potential large accounts from targeted industries using various methods such as cold calling, emails, LinkedIn, face-to-face meetings, and trade shows
* Identifying high-impact, strategic opportunities and building a strong sales pipeline
* Executing strategic sales plans to win new business and drive incremental loan volume
* Responding to inquiries regarding products, client inquiries, and partner resources
* Delivering effective sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospects
* Identifying customer needs and pain points to position iFinance's financing solutions
* Leveraging data-based tools to provide business KPIs and ongoing reporting to strategic partners
* Delivering consistently against assigned volume goals and prioritizing an excellent business experience for iFinance's merchant and service provider partners

**Key Responsibilities**

* Prospect for potential large accounts from targeted industries
* Identify high-impact, strategic opportunities
* Execute strategic sales plans
* Respond to inquiries
* Deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations
* Identify customer needs and pain points
* Leverage data-based tools
* Deliver against assigned volume goals

**Requirements**

* Minimum of 4 years of experience with business development and sales
* Strong organization and time management skills
* Great attitude with the ability to develop trusting business relationships
* Ability to prioritize and resolve issues
* Strong computer skills including the MS Office suite of applications
* Public speaking, presenting, and relationship management experience
* Experience in Credit, Consumer Finance, and Fintech is a definite asset
* Valid driver's license
