**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Library Assistant to join our team at Victoria Hospital. As a key member of our library team, you will be responsible for assisting library users in accessing information and organizing electronic resources.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist library users in accessing information via the cataloguing process and organizing electronic/digital resources.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to library users.
  • Organize and maintain library collections and resources.
  • Develop and implement effective search strategies to locate information.
  • Collaborate with library staff to develop and implement library programs and services.

**Requirements:**

  • Eighteen (18) months previous experience in an automated library environment.
  • Master of Library and Information Studies (MLIS) degree.
  • Canadian Health Libraries Association (CHLA) and Saskatchewan Health Libraries Association (SHLA) memberships.

**Knowledge and Abilities:**

  • Ability to teach adults.
