About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead our electrical systems design team. As a key member of our Buildings practice, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical engineering solutions for complex building projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Lead large-scale electrical engineering projects, ensuring timely completion, and meeting client expectations.
  • Design and Development: Develop and implement electrical systems designs, including evaluation, selection, and specification of engineered systems or products.
  • Team Management: Manage and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
  • Client Communication: Collaborate with clients, internal stakeholders, and external consultants to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality assurance and quality control on projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement new standards and specifications for the electrical group, improving efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, and Licensed Professional Engineer in British Columbia.
  • Experience: Minimum 13 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a strong background in project management and team leadership.
  • Skills: Advanced understanding of electrical engineering concepts, strong communication and leadership skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and other relevant software.
