Position Overview: Under general supervision, the Senior Electrical Systems Engineer is responsible for developing intricate designs for comprehensive electrical systems, including but not limited to, master system plans, power distribution networks, protective measures, and renewable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts in-depth analyses of electrical systems, performing essential calculations for power distribution, illumination simulations, and safety systems.
  • Generates technical documentation and white papers to enhance the organization’s knowledge management initiatives.
  • Engages in site assessments to verify that designs meet specific site requirements.
  • Revises design specifications as necessary to align with evolving project needs.
  • Contributes to the organization’s knowledge base by authoring technical papers and documentation for unique design cases and studies.
  • Reviews project proposals to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provides mentorship and technical support to junior engineers, fostering their professional development.
  • May oversee the activities of junior engineering staff on various projects.
