You as a Process Engineer will:

  • A strong background in process engineering with specific experience in the design, operation and construction of pharmaceutical facilities, industrial process and chemical plants or other similar facilities.
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of process designs and systems for the construction, ensuring they meet industry standards and project specifications
  • Prepare process flow and instrumentation diagrams
  • Collaborate with architects, engineering and construction teams to integrate process engineering solutions into the design, optimizing for efficiency and regulatory compliance
  • Compile information for client presentations, shop drawings review, and contract administration for the design of power, process, pipeline, etc.
  • Assist with the development of project scope, budget and schedule for all process related work
  • Provide onsite construction start-up and commissioning support and perform onsite audits and surveys of the facilities and equipment
  • Work with clients, vendors, and suppliers to develop cost estimates and proposals
  • Manage equipment procurement and prepare bid evaluation
  • Manage stakeholder communication, providing clear and concise updates on technical progress and addressing any concerns related to process engineering
  • Research processing engineering best practices

Is this the right role for you?

  • Bachelor's Degree in chemical, mechanical, or industrial engineering from an accredited institution
  • Professional Engineering Designation: A P.Eng or equivalent engineering designation is desired
  • 5+ years of experience in process engineering, specifically in the construction of battery plants or pharmaceutical facilities
  • Proficiency in project management software and methodologies, with a proven track record of managing complex projects from preconstruction to completion
  • A strong commitment to safety and quality management, as evidenced by previous work on projects adhering to strict safety guidelines and quality standards.
