The ideal candidate will possess strong management and team building skills, excellent organizational and multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and pay strict attention to detail.

  • Acting as a liaison between management, casino associates and external contractors providing direction and ensuring adherence to policies
  • Assigning and coordinating preventative maintenance, demand work orders and project tasks for all buildings and exterior grounds
  • Assisting with the monitoring of critical systems (electrical/mechanical/BAS) and ensuring continuous operation in support of the gaming operations departments
  • Planning, organizing, and scheduling workplans and meetings with internal stakeholders and external contractors and consultants
  • Providing detailed schedules and accurate communications across multiple shifts and departments
  • Coordinating and verifying contractor work for completion and accuracy
  • Maintaining spare parts inventory following strict purchasing procedures
  • Providing supervision and support to engineering associates including continuous performance feedback and pertinent operational communications and announcements
  • Thorough knowledge of all activities and promotions occurring at our casino properties
  • Working independently and in a team environment
  • Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation

The ideal candidate has:

  • Post Secondary education in Engineering or trade certificate
  • 3 years supervisory or management experience with 1 year experience in a trade related field
  • Experience in the hospitality/entertainment industry managing facility operations
  • Strong management and team building skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and pay strict attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Working knowledge of WHMIS and Health and Safety Act, valid Ontario Driver's License Class "G"
  • Ability to work in all Microsoft Office programs, AS400 and Kronos
