Actuarial Advisor, Property Ratemaking

Join our team as an Actuarial Advisor in the Property Ratemaking Department and contribute to our growth and profitability objectives. As a key member of our team, you will help us achieve our goals by building statistical models, analyzing problems and business opportunities, and providing guidance and support to junior actuaries.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop optimal pricing strategies based on predictive loss ratio and behavior models
- Provide guidance and support to junior actuaries for various initiatives
- Develop cutting-edge pricing techniques to promote profitable growth
- Understand, build, and improve the segmentation of our property products using modern modeling techniques
- Conduct actuarial analyses of data, communicate results to stakeholders, and make recommendations
- Produce and analyze reports to monitor changes in business portfolio and market trends
- Support underwriting and operations sectors on various premium-related items

- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, math, or statistics
- Minimum of four years of relevant experience in property and casualty insurance
- Passing grade in at least 4 CAS professional exams or the ACIA Capstone Exam
- Knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec
- Strong communication skills in both French and English
- Knowledge of property-casualty insurance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAS, R, and the Willis Towers Watson Suite
