We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Advisor to join our Property Ratemaking Department at Desjardins Group. As an Actuarial Advisor, you will play a key role in helping us achieve our growth and profitability objectives by building statistical models to guide decision making and analyzing problems and business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Optimal Pricing Strategies: Help develop and implement optimal pricing strategies based on predictive loss ratio and behavior models to ensure profitable growth.
  • Provide Guidance and Support: Provide guidance and support to junior actuaries for various initiatives, including the development of cutting-edge pricing techniques.
  • Conduct Actuarial Analyses: Conduct actuarial analyses of data, make appropriate assumptions, communicate results to stakeholders, and make recommendations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Produce and Analyze Reports: Produce and analyze reports to monitor changes in business portfolio and market trends.
  • Support Underwriting and Operations: Support underwriting and operations sectors on various premium-related items.

  • Language: Strong communication skills in both French and English, both oral and written.
