Your New Career


We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Vice President, Canada to join our team in our stunning downtown Vancouver, BC headquarters.

We're looking for an experienced, energetic leader to spearhead our expansion and growth across Canada and the USA.

Your role is pivotal in executing our strategic direction, increasing revenue and profitability, and enhancing the overall performance of our North American division.

You will lead the Vancouver team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation, and will be instrumental in building and maintaining strong client relationships.

You'll report through to our Global CEO, who is based in Brisbane, Australia.

Some of your key accountabilities will be:

Strategic Business Growth:
Implement our sales and marketing strategies for profitable growth
Oversee expansion into the U.S. market, ensuring alignment with global objectives
Be part of STG's Global Executive team and actively foster a collaborative global environment:
Work closely with your peers (e.g. Executive Leaders in Australia) to create a collaborative environment that allows Scout Talent Group to operate excellently at a global level
Be a conduit and advocate for the Brisbane HQ in the local Vancouver office. We are looking for a champion that will take the best of the talent in Brisbane and bring that to the forefront of the Vancouver office, and reciprocally, advocate for the outstanding talents of the Vancouver office with the Brisbane-based Leadership Team
Represent the North American team at monthly Advisory Board meetings and meet monthly with our Vancouver-based Advisory Board member

Leadership and Culture:
Maintain and foster our culture of excellence - i.e. high performance, trust, collaboration
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 40 Scouties in Vancouver
Directly lead a team of 6 Senior Leaders and Team Leaders, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration

Client Relationship Management:
Cultivate strong relationships to secure new business and grow existing accounts
Personally engage with our top 20 accounts in North America, to understand and meet their needs (and in turn, achieve retention and account growth)
Use your understanding of our clients and their needs to help shape our future Product Roadmap

Financial Oversight:
Collaborate with our Finance team to oversee financial aspects of the business, including Forecasts and P&Ls
Ensure financial targets and other performance metrics are met

Operational Excellence:
Ensure our NA business continues to follow our proven Global "One Best Way" systems
Ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness in all areas of the business
About You


The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record in growing the revenue and profitability of a business of a similar size/scale.


We're looking for someone with strong sales and marketing experience who can guide the North American arm of our business toward achieving our ambitious growth and profitability goals.


Given the level of prior experience we're looking for, we expect the successful candidate will have experience in recruiting people for the previous businesses you've worked for.

We want you to draw upon that experience to relate to our clients and their challenges/needs.

We value "hands-on" leaders who are keen to be deeply involved in the business - for example, joining sales meetings with potential clients.


Experience in SaaS is not required, but an interest and passion for technology is a must Additionally, experience selling to companies in the USA will be highly regarded.

As a valued member of Scout Talent Group, you will receive executive-level remuneration, with on-target earnings in your first year circa $200K-$250K and equity in the business included in your package.

Earnings are expected to grow in your second year and beyond.
