The Opportunity

Preparing and developing engineering drawings, models, sketches, and other documents within a BIM focused environment. Help manage in-coming and out-going model and drawing information. Co-ordinating work with other disciplines. Troubleshoot problems that arise in a rapidly changing project environment. Working directly with engineering colleagues and other professionals. Ensure proper QA/QC protocols are implemented. Develop software skills necessary to be successful in their project assignments. Project and team administrative duties.

Qualifications

Currently completing a diploma/degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent in the built environment or a certification in BIM Management or equivalent. Students actively enrolled within co-operative learning program at their respective University or College will be prioritized. Experience in AutoCAD and/or Microstation. Knowledge of Civil 3D, Bentley InRoads/OpenRoads. Knowledge of coordination tools: Navisworks, Bluebeam, Revisto. Knowledge of collaboration tools: ACC/BIM360, SharePoint, ProjectWise. Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada without the need for employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future.

Preferred

Experience in Revit is an asset. Knowledge of ISO19650. Previous experience in the AEC industry.
