The Pricing and Product Portfolio Specialist will play a key role in supporting the Sales Area in following global standards and ensuring consistency of pricing processes, pricing levels, and maintaining the local ERP system. This role involves gathering and analyzing market data to provide actionable insights, identifying trends, and detecting opportunities and risks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with attention to detail and adaptability to changing technologies. Proficiency in Excel, experience with Power BI and CRM systems, and familiarity with the mining industry or aftermarket sales are beneficial.

The Pricing and Product Portfolio Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Developing aftermarket pricing strategies in alignment with divisional requirements and local sales teams.
  • Implementing and maintaining pricing structures within the local ERP system.
  • Managing item master harmonization within the local ERP system.
  • Ensuring compliance with global standards and internal controls, while recommending process improvements.
  • Analyzing market trends for parts and services in relation to the active Sandvik fleet.
  • Generating reports on competitive analysis, product performance, and customer insights.
  • Ensuring the collection of high-quality fleet data.
  • Identifying opportunities and gaps within the product portfolio.
  • Collaborating with sales, product, business model, and account teams to diagnose issues and develop improvement strategies.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Four to five years' experience in customer service, administration, marketing, or similar roles with a focus on analytical or quantitative business functions, marketing programs, or campaign management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and adaptability to changing technologies.
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with Power BI and CRM systems.
  • Advanced computing skills or task automation experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the mining industry or aftermarket sales is beneficial.
  • High level of self-motivation, accountability, and initiative to achieve customer satisfaction goals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal and collaborative capabilities.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work as part of a cohesive team.
