Responsibilities
  • Develop rapport with students and establish a fun learning environment
  • Display a positive attitude, and demonstrate enthusiasm for math
  • Supervise, interact with, and motivate students
  • Reward students for completed work, and especially for demonstrated mastery
  • Evaluate and document student progress
  • Communicate student needs to the Center Director
Requirements
  • A thorough knowledge of math up to and including pre-calculus
  • Experience either teaching or learning within the British Columbia, Canadian education system
  • A passion for teaching kids
  • We prioritize candidates with 5 day/week, 3-7 p.m. availability
