About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Proposal Coordinator to join our team at Binnie. As a key member of our Proposal Team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing our proposal strategy, ensuring the highest quality proposals are submitted to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement proposal strategy and process, suggesting improvements based on industry experience
  • Spearhead kick-off meetings to discuss proposal strategy, content development, and internal deadlines
  • Develop and monitor proposal preparation schedules and deadlines
  • Assemble and customize project team resumes, project highlight sheets, and boilerplate to suit RFPs
  • Proofread and edit content, providing advice and suggestions for improvement
  • Review RFPs and ensure proposal responses are compliant
  • Provide strategic advice and guidance to Binnie and the Proposal Team using existing knowledge of industry clients
  • Support the Proposal Manager as needed for various senior-level tasks and annual Key Initiatives
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in leading and preparing standard and complex proposals, as well as writing, editing, strategizing, and developing proposal content
  • Experience in the BC consulting industry is mandatory
  • Completed Diploma or Degree in Arts, Communications, Commerce, Business Administration, or other writing-focused fields
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Project
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong proposal, business, and technical writing skills, with the ability to write original text and customize existing text to suit assignments
  • Exceptional ability to manage multiple competing demands and meet deadlines consistently
  • Strong grasp of graphic design and/or formatting and document layout
  • Ability to proofread technical writing from others and edit for grammar, spelling, clarity, and overall writing quality, and in compliance with Request for Proposal (RFP) documents
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively and professionally, verbally and in writing, to all staff levels
  • Ability to work cooperatively and productively with colleagues in a team environment and to effectively advise the team when required
