Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Product Safety Manager to join our team at QAI Laboratories Ltd. as a Department Head - Electrical Testing. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong background in electrical safety standards, testing, and certification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day activities of the Electrical Department, including scheduling and project management.
  • Oversee the efficient operation of the department and ensure customer service requirements are met.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the Electrical Department's business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address business opportunities.
  • Participate in audits and provide technical leadership as required.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging trends in electrical safety.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical safety, testing, and certification.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards (CSA, UL, IEC, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
