About the Role:

The successful candidate will perform a variety of duties, including:

  • Conducting testing and evaluation of electrical products to ensure compliance with nationally recognized electrical safety standards.
  • Working to grow the Electrical Department's business through strategic planning and execution.
  • Providing technical expertise and support for the development and certification of electrical products, including training, testing, inspection, and certification.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Participating in audits and ensuring compliance with quality management systems.
  • Developing and maintaining technical documentation, including test reports and procedures.
  • Traveling to client sites to conduct inspections and evaluations.
  • Interacting with customers and staff to provide technical support and guidance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in electrical product development, testing, or quality assurance.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.

Key Competencies:

  • Practical knowledge of electrical product development and testing.
  • Ability to evaluate and develop testing, inspection, and certification requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
