We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Directs Store Delivery Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient processing and delivery of merchandise to our salesfloor.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and process direct and local shipments, including OMNI merchandise and alcohol, to ensure timely delivery to the salesfloor.
- Train and support other DSD Associates in receiving area processes to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Ensure a clean and organized receiving area by preparing returns, claims, and MTRs for prompt shipment.
- Follow and promote safety rules for lifting procedures, box blades, pallet jacks, and ladders to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager and Office Support Associate to resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
- Safeguard backdoor and key controls to ensure compliance with Company guidelines.
- Adhere to cold chain compliance guidelines to ensure quality assurance and document all necessary information on the Receiving Temperature Log/Sure Check App.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy.
- Ability to lift and move merchandise as required.
While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:
- Previous experience in a logistics or inventory management role.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems and procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
