We are seeking a compassionate and skilled LPN to join our team at POINTS WEST LIVING COLD LAKE in COLD LAKE, ALBERTA.
The OpportunityAs a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of care for our residents. You will be responsible for:
- Providing person-directed care with a focus on time management
- Coordinating business activities within the vision and objectives of our organization
- Leading the team to achieve commitment to person-directed services
- Ensuring care is provided in accordance with nursing best practices and regulations
- Mentoring and delegating nursing tasks to care partners
- Identifying health, safety, or maintenance issues and reporting as required
- Providing impartial support and excellent relationship building skills
We are looking for a candidate with:
- A strong personal commitment to person-directed care
- Current familiarity with the Eden Alternative Philosophy and the Domains of Well-Being
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of supportive living services, assessment, and care planning
- Valid certification in First Aid and CPR
