Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical and cognitive functioning to identify areas of need and develop effective treatment plans.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to educate and empower individuals to achieve their goals and maximize their potential.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive needs.
- Utilize evidence-based practices and stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in occupational therapy.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practices in occupational therapy.
- Registration with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists.
- Previous experience working with patients with physical, neurological, and/or mental health conditions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
