Project Controls Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Controls Team Lead to join our team at the Provincial Health Services Authority. As a key member of our Project Services team, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of day-to-day operational activities related to Project Controls Contracts, and providing leadership, guidance, and day-to-day supervision of staff.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the day-to-day operational activities of the Project Controls Contracts team, executing strategic/tactical direction and processes identified by the Manager, Project Controls.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and day-to-day supervision of staff using effective leadership techniques, including coaching, mentoring, skills and leadership development, and performance management.
- Work closely with other Project Services team members to provide business support services, collaborating with members of the PDHIS Business Planning and Accounts Receivable teams to assist with operational performance modeling, operational reviews, and business process improvement reviews.
- Ensure that the Project Controls Contracts team and the broader Project Services team follow established PDHIS Technology Services/Project Services business controls and processes, executing regular project business controls audits in conjunction with the Manager, Project Controls.
- Lead the gathering and reporting of project time charges, preparation of the monthly invoice data file, and preparation and distribution of weekly/monthly financial reports and presentations.
- Conduct multi-layer business/data analysis by leveraging data from multiple information sources, including Replicon, status reports, SharePoint, and other reports/data sources.
- A degree in Finance, Business, Project Management, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, plus a minimum of five (5) years recent related experience working in an IT Services Project Controls or Contracts related team of at least 5 people, in a large, complex organization.
- Demonstrated understanding and in-depth experience with vendor/relationship management, contracts administration/management, HR and Hiring Processes, program/project financial management, invoice management, quality assurance, and project tracking processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, accompanied by proven presentation skills in a corporate environment.
- Keen attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and the ability to present ideas in a business/user-friendly language.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor staff members and subordinates in the delivery of services, and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment with multiple clients, often with competing priorities.
