Job Summary: Manage day-to-day field primary and remedial cementing operations, mentor personnel, and ensure efficient handling of operations while maintaining safety standards. Cement Supervisor (Class 1) Founded in 2008, Magnum Services is a well-established cementing service company with a broad operational footprint in North America. We provide primary and remedial oilfield cementing services, downhole isolation technologies, soil stabilization, and fluid services across various industries. Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage and mentor personnel, equipment, and materials to ensure timely arrival at location.
  • Execute successful cementing jobs according to design and client specifications.
  • Ensure efficient handling of day-to-day operations and critical tasks completion.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal departments.
  • Work with station management to maintain operation and service standards.
  • Evaluate Bulk Drivers and Operators on weekly maintenance requirements.
  • Adhere to and enforce company Safety policies and ensure compliance with HSE legislation.
  • Prepare reports and tickets, and conduct incident reporting.
  • Implement and maintain procedures to ensure high-level service.
  • Develop and maintain strong external/internal client relationships.
  • Work with management to improve policy and procedures.
  • Supervise a crew on primary, remedial, and pump jobs.
  • Demonstrate ability to operate core pieces of equipment.
  • Train and mentor current and aspiring Supervisor 1's.
  • Complete Supervisor 1 and 2 sections of MAP.
  • Participate in training and development activities.
Qualifications:
  • Experience as an oil and gas cementing supervisor and in operating pumpers.
  • Demonstrated ability to direct and motivate the work of others.
  • Valid class 1 (Canada) / class A CDL (U.S.) driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Physically capable of moving/lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.
  • Able to work outdoors for extended periods and in congested or confined areas.
  • Legally eligible to work in the country the role is based out of.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Good computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office and other software.
  • Experience in the completion of reports and dealing with customers and dispatch.
  • Understanding of cementing job design and client specifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with company policies and safety.
  • Able to perform calculations required to execute a cement job.
  • Able to perform regular maintenance on equipment.
  • Demonstrated leadership and strong work ethic.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to change.
  • Team player and customer service focused.
  • Demonstrated initiative and results-oriented.
